Recently Disney has changed the release dates for several movies, the famous ones including Marvel’s Blade, which is reported to be delayed in production. Release date of which moved from 3 November 2023 to 6 September 2024.
It has been reported that Marvel Studios has delayed a couple of upcoming projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Deadpool 3, the next famous movie release date has been shifted from September 6, 2024, to November 8, 2024.
Apart from the above one, the upcoming release dates for “Avengers: Secret Wars”, and “Fantastic Four” have also been pushed further.
‘Avenger: Secret Wars’ was planned to be released from 8th November month to 14 February 2025. It is the sixth Avengers movie.
Why this delay?
According to some reports, it has been said that this delay has happened due to the Blade movie, which will introduce a half-vampire and half-human superhero, has lost its director Bassam Tariq.
Back in 2019, at San Diego Comic-Con, this ‘Blade’ movie was announced, while Kevin Feige et al had chosen Ali, Wesley Snipes expressed his interest in reprising the role.
In the recent statement released by THR, Marvel Studio said in the statement that owing to a shift in their production schedule, Bassam is no longer director of the movie (Blade).
However, he will remain an executive producer on the film and the studio even appreciated Bassam’s talent and his work.
In reply, Tariq had said in the statement that it has been an honor working with folks at Marvel and the team, including himself and other staff, were able to give a killer crew and cast. He further said, he is eager to see where the next director takes the film.
Blade Movie
Blade movie presents a superhero known as Daywalker, the superhero the movie is half-vampire and half-human.
It is also shown in the movies, he is Dhampir which makes him immune enough strong to face sunlight, in the contrary, vampires usually are scared of the sunlight- it is also one of the reasons he is called Daywalker.
He kills vampires, partly because his mother was killed by vampires.
‘What about Avengers: Kang Dynasty’ and Avengers: Secret Wars
It has been said that the ‘Secret Wars’ and ‘Kang Dynasty’ are bigger and greater than Avengers: Infinity Wars’ and ‘Endgame’, which are believed to be the greatest and biggest movies of all time in themselves.
Things about Fantastic Four
Fantastic Four is also one of the well-known and watched movies, and it is one of the two Marvel properties the second property of Marvel is X-Men.
This Fantastic Four was acquired by Disney from the 20th-century fox company. Now Fantastic Four and Mutants can be seen in the movies involving Avengers in MCU.
As per the reports, the final acquisition was done recently.
In the main theme of the Fantastic Four movie, there are four superpowered individuals, who live in a dysfunctional family.
