Migos, who belongs to the Atlanta-based hip-hop group and famous rapper also known as Takeoff, died early Tuesday in Houston shooting, an attorney for the rapper confirmed.

Migos was an American rapper, who has been known as a member of the hip-hop trio. The group included his uncle Quavo and his first cousin Offest. The group was founded in the Atlanta suburb of Lawrenceville in 2008.

This incident took place on 1 November 2022 and he was shot three in the head and torso and was declared dead before reaching the hospital.

His real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball, born in June 1994.

The group produced some of the most listened to and famous songs that soon came under the list of top ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including MotorSport representing Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, Walk it Talk it, Stir Fry featuring Drake and Bad and Boujee presenting Lil Uzi Vert.

Takeoff has also received 2 Grammy Award nominations.

About the incident

At 810 Billiards and Bowling in Houston, this shoot-out happened after a private party and Houston police were called around 2:34 am. However, Takeoff was confirmed dead at the shooting scene.

It has been reported that two more individuals also got injured in that shoot-out and were transported to the hospital but their injuries were not life-threatening.

Who is the suspect?

Houston Police chief Troy Finner noted that many people have described the well-respected rapper as a very peaceful, loving, great entertainer.

He reported that Migos member Quavo and apart from him, there were around more than 40 people at the party and mentioned that a number of witnesses fled the scene probably due to fear.

However, the suspect was not named or described and Houston mayor Sylvester Turner has made several calls for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

Finner said that there was no indication of anything which reflect Takeoff to be involved in anything criminal at the time.

The early life of Takeoff

Takeoff was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia near Atlanta, and was raised in Lawrenceville by his mother, along with family member Offset and Quavo.

Though his love for music and singing could be seen in his childhood activities, especially when he was in 7th grade when he started to make beats and develop rhythms he did not begin producing music until 2011.

Soon after the death of Takeoff was announced, world-famous celebrities including Dave, Ric Flair, Chris Eubank jr., snoop dog, Desiigner, and Mike Tyson. These all celebrities gave condolences on social media.

Designed in one of his Instagram live broadcasts announced that he is leaving rap and can no longer be creative due to the death of Takeoff.
